Meet The Family
"Children are great imitators. So give them something great to imitate"
The daily experience of children in early years settings and the overall quality of care depends on all practioners having appropriate qualifications, training and knowledge. That is why at Little Trees Nursery, Staff are encouraged and supported to continiously professionally develop so they remain motivated and reach their full potential to contribute to a positive and happy environment for the children.

Quote: “Children are not things to be molded, but are people to be unfolded.”
Previously to founding Little Trees Nursery I began my career as a Registered Nurse. I specialised as a Palliative Care Nurse working in hospice care. I then went on to become a School Nurse specialising in special needs and behavioural problems.
We dreamt of owning our own nursery for over a decade. We wanted parents to experience childcare as it should be, not just the best that they could afford. I believe every child deserves the best start in life regardless of their background, needs or issues. At Little Trees we believe its about seeing our little ones as individuals and supporting them to be the best they can be. We offer the best in nutrition, education, care and health and well-being not because you pay over the odds for it but because every child deserves the best.

Quote: "Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique not only capable of learning but also capable of succeeding"
I have worked as a nursery manager and nursery nurse within nurseries for 18 years. I went on to train as a paediatric nurse before having my daughter.
About me: I have my own daughter so I know what it is like being a parent and how difficult it can be leaving your child in someone else's care. That is why at Little Trees we give the same care and attention that I would want an expect for my daughter. We strive to support all children and also support the parents and work in partnership with them with the best interests of the child as paramount.
